Texas Corn Producers Association is excited to announce its 2024 student scholarship recipients.TCPA offers scholarships to students pursuing higher education. This year, four high school seniors were selected to each receive $1,000 to put toward their academic endeavors.
TCPA opens scholarship applications for its student members in the fall. The recipients submit applications that include answered essay questions regarding their involvement in the industry and their plans to pursue an agriculture-related career.
2024 Scholarship Recipients
Jhett Davis
Davis attends Grandview High School and plans on attending Texas A&M University next fall, majoring in animal science.
Tyler Johnson
Johnson attends Lyford High School. Next fall he plans on attending Texas A&M where he will study agricultural systems management.
Brecken Shipman
Shipman attends Grandview High School and plans to attend Texas Tech University next fall. He will study animal science with a minor in agricultural economics.
Jacob Singer
Singer attends McGregor High School and plans on attending Texas Tech next fall to study agricultural business with an emphasis on marketing.
