Texas Corn Producers Association Scholarships
TCPA is proud to sponsor five scholarships for its student members. Each year TCPA awards these $1,000 scholarships in the following categories:
- High school senior as of January 1, 2025
- Current college or university undergraduate student as of January 1, 2025
Applications open Oct. 28, 2024, and close January 31, 2025.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must attend/plan to attend a Texas college or university full time
- Must be a current student member of TCPA
- Current TCPA and TCPB directors’ children are not eligible

National Corn Growers Association (NCGA) Scholarship
Included with the TCPA student membership is a complimentary membership with National Corn Growers Association (NCGA) — making students eligible for even more benefits and national scholarship opportunities. Opportunities made available by NCGA are available to:
- Technical School/Community College Scholarship Program
- Five scholarships available
- $1,000 per scholarship
- For students pursuing a degree at a technical school or community college

- Five scholarships available
- $1,500 per scholarship
- For undergraduate students pursuing degrees in any field
- Scholarship provided in partnership with BASF Corporation

- $2,500 per scholarship
- For a graduate student whose area of study will benefit the corn sector

- Research Students: NCGA Research Ambassador Program
- Financial award of $2,500 directly to the student;
- Up to $750 for registration and travel reimbursement for participation in scientific research conferences;
- Fully-funded travel to participate in NCGA events throughout the year, which could include grower research committee meetings, congressional visits at the state or federal level, Commodity Classic, Corn Congress, farm field days, etc.
- *Note: Applications for the Research Ambassador program are separate from scholarships and are usually accepted in the spring.
It’s now easier than ever to apply for both TCPA and NCGA scholarship opportunities! Students can apply to both TCPA and NCGA scholarships using one application. All scholarship applications open on October 28, 2024, and close on January 31, 2025. You must be a student or grower member of TCPA to qualify for all scholarship opportunities.
