  • Groundwater and surface water issues
  • Corn markets, including ethanol
  • Regulatory relief
  • Grain producers protection
  • Property rights
  • Farm programs and crop insurance

Throughout the year, the CPAT representatives make regular trips to Austin and D.C. to visit with legislators about matters impacting farmers and the agricultural industry as a whole. Additionally, the association is involved on a local level, keeping in touch with district congressional staff, staying aware of water district and other local regulators and more.
