CPAT statement on passage of House Ag Committee farm bill

LUBBOCK, Texas (July 12, 2012) – The Corn Producers Association of Texas President Robert Gordon released the following statement in regard to the House Agriculture Committee’s 35-11 passage of the Agriculture Reform, Food and Jobs Act of 2012:

“The Corn Producers Association of Texas commends the House Ag Committee’s commitment to developing and passing a farm bill promoting the diversity of American farmers and the nation’s food source. While no legislation is perfect, this bill offers farmers the program options they need to viably produce a stable and abundant food supply. We look forward to working with our representatives to continue the movement of the legislation.”
